Find A Golden Can At A 7-Eleven Store For The Chance to Win a ‘Meet And Greet’ With Shaquille O’Neal

WOODBURY, N.Y., Aug. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ – AriZona Beverages and Shaquille O’Neal invite consumers to participate in the “Soda Shaq Golden Can” contest at 7-Eleven stores nationwide. Between Aug. 14 and Sept. 3 one golden can will be hidden at five different 7-Eleven locations throughout the country. Once they are placed one-by-one over the four-week period, the ball is in your court to find the golden can and win the prize.

The Golden Can Sweepstakes, the second contest to come from the Soda Shaq launch in June, is expected to generate a buzz and create excitement online. AriZona Beverages and Shaquille O’Neal will provide clues via their Facebook and Twitter pages to give fans a few BIG hints and a little direction towards the gold.

7-Eleven customers, AriZona fans and Shaquille O’Neal followers are all encouraged to look for clues and search #SodaShaqGold to find out where the next golden can is hidden. The first person to find the golden can wins first prize and is automatically entered to win the grand prize. First prize will consist of a Shaquille O’Neal poster, a set of headphones and four cases of Soda Shaq.

With huge social media followings on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, AriZona (@DrinkAriZona), Shaquille O’Neal (@SHAQ) and 7-Eleven (@7eleven) have reached an audience of almost 17 million. Out of those fans, there will be only five lucky winners who will be entered to win the grand prize – A “meet and greet” with Shaquille O’Neal including round trip airfare for the winner and one guest, one night hotel accommodation and a $500.00 spending allowance. The grand prize winner will be selected at random on Sept. 4, 2013.

The five specially marked gold cans are marked “WINNER” across the front and will feature a brand new Shaq expression.
